I've chewed this root
this mysterious growth
the plant from which youth flows freely
timeless sensations of independent awareness
alive and alone
questioning and happiness
dissecting and sealing
there must be more
who has it...

This root from the stream
that no longer flows
that is stopped up by logs
placed by the weather
the impermissable will of the wind
outside of our reach

back to the spring
where it all began
