OOSOOM

everybody needs a muse
a shining star
an insightful painting for the bare walls
an inspiring entity
Legos were mine
then women
then guitars
somewhere in between- beaches, soccer, architecture, language
now, contentment
tomorrow, well, don't get ahead of your/my-self!
finish chewing!

everybody needs a muse
for a while
when starved
when hungry
when fidgety
when barren
what medicine, the muse!
a sweet vermouth for the whiskey lover
a strong wedge between acidic slivers

it's funny when you lose a muse
when they become invisible to the sore eyes, the once-tightly-closed all-seeing eyes
dear life, you've gotten ahead of your/my-self
